Your accountant gets the books, without getting a login.
Every month the same ritual: the accountant asks for everything, and somebody spends an afternoon exporting screens one by one — or the accountant gets access to a system they now have to learn. RepBuddy mails them the books instead: one email, one spreadsheet per document, exactly what you chose to send.
The package
- You pick the documents: invoice and payment registers, A/R and A/P ageing, the tax summary, vendor 1099 totals — and the full journal, every debit and credit for the period.
- One email, one file per document, sent from your own business identity — replies come back to you.
- Monthly or quarterly on a day you choose, or only when you press send.
- Nothing is included by default. You decide exactly what leaves, per company.
You review before it leaves
- Preview any file first — the exact spreadsheet the email will carry, for the exact period.
- Something wrong? Fix it in the orders or invoices themselves, preview again, then send.
- Choose the documents and the recipients for each individual send, and add a note on top.
- Every send is recorded: what went, to whom, and whether it arrived.
Or a read-only link
Prefer your accountant to help themselves? Give them a link that opens a plain download page: they pick a period and pull the same documents — only the ones you selected — with no account and nothing to install. The link expires on its own and you can revoke it any time.
Honest books underneath
The package is only as good as the books behind it. RepBuddy keeps real double-entry books, and corrections never overwrite history — an edited payment reverses the old entry and posts a new one, and the journal shows both. Your accountant sees what happened, not a tidied version of it.
What it doesn't do
- It isn't accounting software. There's no chart of accounts you control, no payroll and no tax filing — the package feeds the person who does that work, it doesn't replace them.
- No live sync to QuickBooks or Xero — deliberately. Your accountant gets files any spreadsheet opens, not an integration someone has to maintain.
- The link is a download door, not a login. Your accountant can take copies of what you shared; they can never see anything else or change anything at all.
